Thanks! If I had the $, I would keep the car because these will hold their value like e30 M3's. I will probably regret it and kick myself in a few years...

 

Do you guy's feel as though the new M coupe will also hold it's value as well as this model did ?

 

the new ones? IMO No... doesn't have soul.

 

Initially I don't think they have, however when I recently sold my S52 M Coupe I learned the hard way that the price decreasing on the new one, caused the price and demand for ones like this to get sold. When I bought mine a year ago stock clean examples where going for 20-23K, when I sold it 16-18K was the norm (when previously it seemed to stay the same and they where impossible to find).

Good luck with the sale, your car is very similarly equiped to the one I recently sold and while it took time I managed to get my asking price (23K).

 

what are you talking about??? The question is referring to the z4MC. The e36/8 manheim auction prices are 23-25 currently w/o mods and of course used prices varies upon condition. (dealer offered 24k w/o the mods)

 

The newer coupe prices are getting lower much quicker than the first gen coupes, as a result it's offering a choice to those who don't mind paying a little extra for the newer body style. When I purchased my 368 2 years ago there where far less clean examples available, now there seems to be more for sale at affordable prices.

24 w/o mods sounds like a killer deal.

 

The new Mcoupe is the same concept as the first one Joyride I don't see why it doesn't have as much soul. Not trying to argue but just wondering bc I feel as though they did a good job with it and acomplished what they were trying to achieve. Which I think is a car for real purist drivers that when driven correctly will give you chills ! However the wheels on the first gen were incredible looking on that car !
