Feb 24 Porsche Swap Meet In Costa Mesa

On February 24th, 2008, the 356 Club will present the So Cal All Porsche Swap and Car Display. The event will be held at the Auto Kennel (www.autokennel.com), located at 3001 Red Hill Avenue in Costa Mesa, California. Along with hosting the event, Auto Kennel will have some vintage Porsche race cars on display and their doors will be open all day. There will be vendors dedicated to our Porsche hobby and plenty of swap space will be available.

All of the Porsche car clubs will have their own parking corrals. So far, areas will be set aside for the R-Gruppe and Early 911S Registry, Porsche Club of America, 356 owners, 912 Registry and Late model Speedsters. If your Porsche group is interested in having a corral contact us, and we’ll work with you to make it happen. Parking gates open at 7:45 AM. Each Porsche coming in for display parking will make a donation of $20. Admission to the swap is included with car entry.

All the big Porsche gear vendors will be in attendance. Stoddard’s, NLA, Classic and Speed Parts, AASE Sales, Benton Performance, LN Engineering, Autos International, Pelican Parts, Bruce Crawford Steering Wheel Restoration, International Mercantile, Carburetor Rescue, Block Books, North Hollywood Speedometer and many more will have their wares on display.

As was the case last year, we’ll have over 70 swap spaces available separate of the vendors. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis on the morning of February 24th. The gates to let swappers in open at 6 AM. Each swap space will cost $40 at the gate. Walk in gate opens at 8 AM and admission will be $10. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Orange County School District’s, Lighting the Future Scholarship.
