In addition, Pelican Parts owns and operates one of the largest enthusiast forum communities in the world as well as maintains a commercial posting presence within other popular automotive forums such as 6SpeedOnline!
We are currently assembling a marketing strike team to further enhance our unique online community experience, social media presence and commercial presence within other forum spaces and have several full-time in-house positions for motivated individuals who are communication/social media/analytics/sales/customer service mavens.
Responsibilities
• Pelican brand ambassador in the digital world
• Respond to tech questions, product inquiries and general customer assistance
• Connect direct sales leads from forums/social media to Pelican sales staff
• Monitor and reply to keyword alerts
• Create threads in forums and other digital spaces to support merchandising
• Participate in metrics discussions, gather community insights and report on a regular basis with recommendations
• Other social media and marketing duties as assigned
Qualifications
• General automotive knowledge with a love for European makes
• Experience moderating and/or posting to online communities as well as popular social media platforms
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Superb writing skills - experience with blogging or editing a plus
• Above average computer skills (MS Office Suite) with quick adaptability to new programs
• Understanding of online forums/communities and the role they play in sales and customer service
