Will there be a dry lane for us Porsche guys?

xtc4us 05-13-2009 01:21 PM

Hey Sean. What's your version of a "dry lane"? We will do all we can get what you need out there.

On the issue of lanes. We will do 1 of 2 things. 1) We may keep street tires in one lane all night. 2) We may run all 3 classes at the same time in both lanes. This is what we did for the last Midnight 1320 and worked out well. We took 3-4 breaks through out the night to spray the track.

LMK if this helps. If not ask me again like I'm 5yrs and I'll get back to you. Like I said we'll do all we can and adjust to racers requests.

Troy.

Dr_jitsu 05-13-2009 03:55 PM

Troy,

The rear engine Porsches break axles if you do a traditional burn out, so it is better for us to not have a wet box to roll through. In any event, Troy, I will be at this party to at least watch. The last one was PHENOMENAL!

redwarrior 05-14-2009 09:15 PM

Hey Sean, think my son and I will come out to see ya'll at this event

xtc4us 05-19-2009 08:59 AM

Hey guys! Thanks for the interest in the event. Like I said, I will do all I can to keep everyone happy. We don't want any P-Cars to break axles so I will address the water-box issue.

We should have another great turn out for this 1200:1320!

xtc4us 05-21-2009 08:30 AM

Dr_jitsu 05-31-2009 06:29 AM

Another great event, good job, Troy.

the head 05-31-2009 08:27 AM

Quite the crowd there. Even though I got there late (about 7:30) I still had to wait to get in about 30 minutes. I only made 2 passes and with the bikes all lumped into one class I knew I didn't stand a chance to win squat, but it still managed a 10.35@143 against Jason's (Mullet) Ford GT. He won the street tire class with a 11.0. I should have brought the cayenne with as many 13-14 sec cars that were there.

PAULIEWALNUTS 05-31-2009 11:13 AM

Other than Sean in those ridiculous shorts the event went well.
