Somewhat new to the board, I was wondering how many local Dallas 6Speeders we have on this board and if anyone is interested in a monthly coffee/drive meet and greet.

I'm up in McKinney. Would love to meet other 6speeders in the area. Maybe meeting at the monthly coffee@cars in Plano?

 

When does that usually happen in the month and where in Plano?

 

Cars 'n Coffee happens every 1st Saturday of the month. Location is the paking lot of Classic BMW in Plano, right off the DNT. When the weather cooperates there are normally hundreds of cars shown and thousands of spectators...

 

they do one at Ruf Auto center in addison, I think its on the last saturday of the month

 

I live in Killeen but i usually wake up early and head up there with a small group for C&C and then go out to lunch. If you pm me your number I'll meet up with you and you're welcome to come meet our group and come to lunch with us!

You guys should check out dfwautoclub.com they have weekly meets in Frisco... Great group of car guys. Lots of track junkies there too.

 

I would be interested in attending the weekly meets but they are kind of secretive on location, etc. how do you get details on date and time. I am not registered over there but will do it shortly.

 

This site seems dead trying to find a good weekly meet in DFW seems impossible these days the car life is just not as big as it used to be.

 

Agreed, 6speed is best for car specific discussions. There are several weekly meet events in dfw, try the dfwac, it is active and full of enthusiasts meeting weekly.
