panamera turbo --anyone running 275/40/20's all around

New to the panamera.....not new to Pcars.....debating the winter wheel issue, there are not that many OE fitment options. I have conversed with Damon from tirerack, and I did a plethora of research and found an alternative option of running 275/40/20 winter tires from many manufacturers. While I know it is 5/8 of an inch taller in the rear....is there any panamera owner running this size all around? Any issues? ( it is within 3% of OEM standards.) I know that the speedo may be off 1mph every 50...that is not a real concern. Anyone doing this or am I a fool for entertaining something out of the "official" N-Spec 1500-2000 dollar snow tire debacle?

any constructive insight is appreciated....

nova996 is infamous around these parts
What would your total cost be with wheels? I'm trying to figure out how much you would actually be saving by trying this.

The various traction mgmt systems were all presumably tested using certain tire sizes. Maybe this amount of difference is not significant enough to compromise them?

Well I can get a set of rims/snows/tpms for about 1500 delivered.

Cost just for reusing stock turbo II is about 1700 plus mounting.

If I bought a set of dedicated wheels, figure 900 bucks min, plus 200-400 for tpms. So savings is about 1500 bucks.

I know what most will say, don't eff with it. But I wanted to hear from those who have done it.
