    Hello,
My apologies for the late response. I have not been on this site for a while.
There were a bunch of cars that were experiencing a stumble at 2.2k rpm.
Porsche would not acknowledge this issue and categorized it as being "normal".
So some of us started investigating the issue ourselves and looking into a possible leak in the vacuum lines.
But none of this should cause a car to burst into flames.

    I would look into this:

    https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...uel-leaks.html

    or this

I wish you all the best..

    hello Dux,

My name is Luyi. I am from Shanghai China. I had a 2012 991.1 C2s with sport exhaust. On January 26 this year, my car was burnt into ashes while on track.

I have been investigating the real cause of my car's immolation. and an campaign code WE12 came up as I check my maintaincence records, which was done on Jan.8, 2019.

I saw your post on the WE12 , can you shed more light on this WE12?

after running 6 laps (2km per Lap) there was constant burst of fire coming from the rear bottom of the car, it lasted for a lap time, which finanlly caused the car on fire. So i doubt if We12 has anything to do with this.

Thanks, your help is much appreciated!
