I have more pictures of this tha tI'm trying to dig up, but the exhaust pressure sensor is installed behind the dampening chamber in order to protect the sensor from super hot exhaust gas and even out the readings from individual pulses. It is plumbed via tubing up the side of the head and installed there for access to it while the engine is in the car.
