Alfa Romeo's All New Super Car 8C
Slideshow: History, heritage and a whole lot of speed are what you can expect in the new Alfa Romeo 8C.

No naturally aspirated engine will be found under the hood of the upcoming mid-engine Italian supercar that should be expected to cover the quarter mile in the low 10-second range. Top speed of this car has yet to be revealed, but with these power levels, it is safe to say something around 220 mph would be realistic. An electronic limiter might cap the party at something much less, however.

Going toe to toe with the McLaren 720S and Aston Martin Superleggeras is no easy task. Thankfully the Alfa 8C is up to the challenge with a price point that slots it into contention with some of the best cars on the market. Alfa has a history of making gorgeous cars that stand out, so the new 8C will certainly be easy to spot in the crowd thanks to its good looks.

Alfa Romeo has a strong history that is rooted in competition. The all-new 8C is a new wave that will lead the charge towards a new chapter in Alfa’s long history.
