A sharper Sport Turismo
With the Panamera GTS, Porsche's engineers have turned up the intensity of the driving experience. This car rolls with Porsche's air-suspension system as standard and its median stance is a touch lower. The Porsche active suspension management system and electronic stability control parameters have been slightly recalibrated too, to allow skillful owners more leeway for fun around the corners.

Squaring off under the hood
Powering the Sport Turismo GTS is a special adaptation of Porsche's 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8. It delivers 460hp, which is a very fair solution between the entry-level Panamera and those immensely powerful Turbo derivatives. The V8's internal architecture is square, with equal bore and stroke dimensions, quite a rarity in modern engines.

Runs like a German V8 performance car should
It might be a larger car, but with all-wheel-drive and excellently spaced ratios within its eight-speed automatic transmission, the Sport Turismo GTS is rapid. It will run a true 0-60mph time of 3.9 seconds and run a top speed of 180mph. The elongated fastback body shape also gifts its great high-speed stability.

Configure your GTS as you wish
With the Sport Turismo GTS, all Porsche's digital systems are on offer. The cockpit has an infotainment interface which allows you do to a lot more than select your favorite entertainment to be streamed through the car's media system. It will even tell you how much lateral G-force you are pulling through high-speed corners.

Why this over a standard Panamera
This Panamera has great dynamic driving appeal. But what really makes this the ultimate Porsche family car, is that it can carry passengers and their luggage in absolute comfort, at speed, on the most challenging roads. The GTS Sport Turismo has 4% more luggage space than a conventional Panamera. That might not sound like much, but you don't know how important the extra 4% is until you need it.
