2016 witnessed the birth of the Ferrari J50, an extremely limited-production run of the 488 Spider exclusively for the Japanese market. Only ten were made and Road & Track reports that one of them is now up for sale with only 692 km (430 miles) on the odometer.

Behind the seats is a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This version received a 20 hp boost from the standard 488 bringing it up to a total of 690 hp.
