Visual Stimulation

A musician and DJ, the man behind this crazy orange Diablo is none other than Japanese EDM producer Souki. A car that truly reflects its owner’s lifestyle, the attention to detail that has gone into this car is impressive, to say the least. It’s loud and brash in all the right ways. But you have to do more than just paint to stand out in the sensory overloaded streets of Tokyo…

The One And Only

Modifying a Lamborghini Diablo is so uncommon that this is actually the world’s only version that has been customized in this manner. People are scared to touch cars like this for fear of upsetting the value or somehow committing sacrilege, which makes this particular build even more special. But it gets better…

DIY

Souki did the bodywork himself. Over fenders are made from fiberglass and the engine has a custom glass panel that is framed in ultra lightweight carbon fiber. Even if you have help with an autoclave, anyone who has shaped or designed knows how tricky this can be to get right. Look at the panel gaps. Super Clean.

Birth of Design

Everything started out as a sketch that he made on paper and then translated into the final design. This is the birth of a vision from one man’s head as to what a Diablo should look like. KHR logos show up all over the car, which is a nod to the car club he runs around Tokyo. The group organizes cruises with Lamborghinis and Ferraris alike. Nothing like a pack of V12s angrily reverberating off the city skyline.

Philosophy of Motion

The philosophy behind this build is one of constant progression. Souki says that he is constantly pushing the boundaries of what he can do and how he can improve himself through the customization process. It’s all about appreciating the machine with a hands-on approach to modifications. Simply buying something anyone can get isn’t a part of the mantra here.

Bullish Impact

Overall, the widebody compliments what Lamborghini wanted this car to be, while remaining true to the roots of what the Diablo always was: a supercar that will stop you dead in your tracks. When he isn’t running around Tokyo in his bright orange custom, he can be found in his Kaido racer or low rider, a nod to the culture of modifying cars no matter what the cost. This is truly a Diablo-like no other.
