The Legendary Name

The McLaren Senna is probably the most track-focused car ever built by the British company. The supercar is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 800PS (789bhp) and 800Nm (590 lb-ft), with 700Nm (516lb ft) of torque. It also features lightweight connecting rods and pistons to reduce mass in the powertrain. The roof-mounted ‘snorkel’ feeds air directly into a bespoke carbon fiber plenum. This McLaren holds the fastest lap times of any road-legal McLaren to date. This creation is inspired by one of McLaren’s greatest racing drivers, Ayrton Senna, again, making the car and driver one.

Unmatched Performance

For the true enthusiast, this is the meat and potatoes of this savage creation. The brute behind the beast. It starts with the connection between the driver and the track. The new hydraulic suspension features a Race mode, which significantly reduces the ride height, lowering the center of gravity and increasing the power of the aerodynamics. The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and electronic wastegates produce an instantaneous throttle response.

Extraordinary Design

What McLaren always seems to get right time and again are the sharp lines and the sleek curves. The Senna is truly exceptional in the use of carbon fiber coupled with aerodynamics that could be summed up in one word: Aggressive. This lends itself to McLaren’s ‘form-follows-function’ design philosophy.

Road legal Race Car

Yes, the Senna is a road legal vehicle. To keep the prowess of this beast in check, the The braking system uses carbon ceramic brakes and each disc takes seven months to create – seven times longer than a conventional carbon ceramic disc. The Formula 1 inspired front calipers feature a super-stiff monobloc design and six ventilated pistons to reduce temperatures. The resulting braking performance is phenomenal: 124mph to a standstill is achieved in 100 meters, and less than 30 meters is covered when stopping from 62mph.
