We know that not all cars were created equal. Some cars have higher gas mileage than the rest, and others have more comfort and luxurious features. Of course, we know that no one here cares much about these two types of automotive machines. In fact, those who are reading this today are likely to be the people who love an entirely different breed of car. One that is fast, capable on street and track, and is an overall outstanding vehicle. Of course, that’s putting it modestly. In a world of the Honda Civics and Ford Taurus’, it seems wrong to even group these vehicles under the same generic label of being “cars.” Of course, maybe that’s why the term “super car” was invented in the first place.

Nonetheless, not even all super cars were created equal. Still, opinions vary when it comes down to which one is truly on top. After all, one just has to be, right?

Supercar Driver set out to determine which of the super car beasts really was the best, and they did it in an extraordinary way. After taking over a runway to use as a track, they pitted nine of the most renown super cars against one another in what they dubbed the “Dream Car Shootout.”

In contention for the win, we have the McLaren 570S and 675LT, the Lamborghini Huracan and Aventador SV, the Porsche 991RS and 918 Spyder, the Aston Martin GT12, the Mercedes AMG GTS Edition 1, and the Ferrari F12. The question is this: Which ride is really the best of the best?
