Since when did a post asking about installing a factory or aftermarket parking sensor warrant a continued post about SRT8's?

Factory if you like your GC SRT8 then that’s great. But if you can't add anything valuable to the original OP's thread then leave it alone for those who wish to contribute to it.

I love people who correct semantics, grammar, and spelling because they have nothing better to say or do. I think Chris's post was purely sarcasm. Factory you are a little late to add to that sarcasm since you missed the boat.

You understood what he meant and he got his point across when he referenced Cherokee.

Canberk I would call around to your local dealerships as well as autobody shops about the parking sensors. Perhaps they have some ideas for you. They can be a wealth of information as well.

I will see what I can dig up.

I actaully was contributing to the thread until he attacked. I never once said his Cayenne was a POS or that I would never catch myself in one. I simply said buyer a ST8 out of sarcasm and thought that he should probably ask the dealer about that the park assist.

Not sure if I would trust a aftermarket park assist. I would feel safer using the dealer b/c if in the event that it failed you would have a better case than goes to the local stereo shop.

hey factoryKITTED, I liked your new signature lol

This discussion is definetely stupid, I can buy an SRT8 plus an average car with the money that I gave to my porsche dealer for my CS, why didn't I? lol
Anyways, he was trying to help me but he had a little sarcasm in his words, thats okay...

aftermarket units - yes and i believe someone on this forum has done it

original unit - not sure but probably cost prohibitive, one thing I know is adding most options afterward is ridiculously more than checking those options when new...

I heard that some cheaper parking sensors system can give you false reads and also can multifunction if weather is too cold or too hot. So I would go for a brand that is knows and has a good reputation. I'm also looking to install aftermarket parking sensors on my 08 CS as soon it will be my wife's car and I better install those if I don't want this bumper damaged
