The cars come from the factory with 20 miles, LOL you're too funny.

Maybe you cars bought "new". My M3 had "5" miles when it was delivered to me on the back of a truck. My Z06 also had less than 10 (I believe it was 8). Anyway, I'm not saying I wouldn't buy used cars (heck, I have a CPO'd Porsche), but I think 20 miles and considered "new" is kind of a stretch.

And yes, I am funny.

Every bank offers a different Residual values on every car and every model and there are some tricks of the trade in regards to leasing .Sometimes a more expensive high option vehicle has a lower lease payment due to model and equiptment .
Examples would be some banks offer a 65% Residual value on a Automatic Honda accord 39 month lease and a 60% on a stick shift due to current sales at lease return auctions being Higher for automatics. The demand is higher for them.
In regards to the cayman the factory can offer dealers a subsidized money factor and subsidized Residual to the selling dealer just to move the vehicle ,In return often times a deal is worked out that the dealer will have to order 10 cars of this or that ,whatever the factory wants to send them to balance their supply and future manufacturing goals. So if a Cayman is sagging in sales they would offer a great behind the scenes Residual and money factor and in return the dealer would have to possibly order 10 -09 caymans with options and colors the Factory chooses.
Ever wonder why Honda and Acura do 39 month leases?
1. so when they sell the car at auction it is fully registered and lisensed for almost 1 year
2.to increase extended warrentys
3.to offer the same Residual as a 36 month lease but with a lower payment then the compettition.
a dealer I worked at use to offer FREE Custom wheels on all our new Cars at the same lease rate as advertised and we sold TONS of cars due to this amazing offer .How can they do it
here's how
say the wheels cost the dealer $3000
The dealer states to the bank they cost him $5000
with a risidule of 60% KAPOW!! they are free
sometimes the dealer would add to they payment if the buyer was unknown to the special lease offer and then run a add in the paper the following day saying it was a missprint to avoid legal action from the dupped consumer if they ever ended up seeing the ad .
I sold all kinds of new and used cars years ago and learned all this stuff first hand so in a nutshell I think this offer is a real offer .

To everyone their own I suppose. 19 miles really isn't much but then again, I tend to be pretty hard on the car as soon as it's off the lot!

if it's a lease, I personally wouldn't give a ****

And what if the closest gas station to the dealer is 3-5 miles away, they have to gas the car and during pre-delivery inspection the mechanic has to make sure everything works before you get your "new" car which means taking it for a short ride. Especially if you're leasing it I wouldn't care if it had 100 miles on it because it's under full warranty from the day you get it until the day you return it.

Cool

I've been buying new cars for a while, and I've never had 20 miles on my car at delivery.

If that flies with you guys, that's fine, but don't try and convince me. I think I've made my stance clear.
