How do you remove and clean MAF?

How do you remove and clean MAF?

Im not really even sure where it is at this point. Just that it is attached to the airbox. thx

At the bottom of this thread is "Ruiners" DIY instructions which are very easy to follow, just use the correct product (leaves no residue and is safe for plastic).

Thx for the links!
So after cleaning it should I expect the abs and psm lights to go out automatically if cleaning did the job? A porsche tech told me that the car needs 40 key on and off cycles before the lights will go out. Would disconnecting the battery make it so the lights will go out? Im mainly wondering this because cleaning may not be enough and it may need replacement from what ive heard. Thx

Disconnecting the battery will clear the codes...if the MAF wasn't it they may be back! You can also get an OBDII reader to clear codes or go to Autozone.

i use elec cleaner from ace hardwear.. has always worked well, very easy very quick....
