After 3 years its finished...yes it needs a couple of little final things but as far as I'm concerned its DONE...going to drive it tomorrow. Suspension just finished and it sits pretty nicely....Thrilled its done...
What an update....after being featured in Excellence Magazine (11/08) and 911&Porsche World (4/09) and a short year after this posting the R is Now FOR SALE...

Asked for pics of the interior. Here's the only one I have. Seats are 964 Speedster seat w/real houndstooth inserts (cost?....don't ask!) I had the dash done in black felt as well as the door tops and the belt that runs under rear 1/4 glass. Lightweight RS carpet, aluminum roll cage and very trick schroth electric belts....
Very nice, I love it! The back looks a little strange with the center section of the tail light painted, but it's very unique!
Thats an aluminum panel replacing the rear tail light. Also, the rear tail lights have been "painted" so they are now red as opposed to factory pink! Makes all the difference in the world...especially on a white car!!!!!
