996 and Boxtor S Brakes

Does anyone know if the brake calipers from the Boxtor S fit the 996 C2....From what i can read they do....looking for your input

I thought they were the same only one is red and one is black...Thanks

are the N/A and TT Calipers same? just painted RED?

no, not the same... tt's are bigger than nb and not a bolt on replacement... gt3's, c4s, tt's are the same setup.

I know That TT and N/A are Different...

I know that the Boxster S are not an upgrade...i was looking for a FAST solution to get red calipers...I dont want to send mine out...

I have used those in the past...i would rather swap calipers...looks better in my opinion..

Powder coated calipers always look better. It takes a lot of work to get paint to look like this:



Porsche (Brembo) calipers are powder coated. Most caliper paint jobs I've seen - except for Eli's - look like crap compared to powder coated. Buy a used set from LA Dismantler. Simple swap. You'll still want to rebuild them though - for peace of mind. So, you might as well use your own. They are very easy to break down and rebuild. Depending on the powder coater, your car would be down just a couple of days. Your brakes would ostensibly be brand new.
