I have always been wondering what is the best way to mount harness for maximum safety in my 996. Currently, I have the crotch harness bolted to the floor and the shoulder harnesses mounted to the my roll bar cross bar. However, my lap harness is mounted to the recaro seat bracket. THis has always bothered me so I am thinking of attaching them to the floor for the this years track season. I have heard mixed recommendations on welding vs bolting as well the location of where the lap belts should be mounted. Any suggestions or thoughts?
