As someone already indicated, the speed limits are gone. Can hit 250+ in several spots on the Ring in my 997.2 Turbo and I'm no professional. Hope you have a great time. If you are up there today (Sunday, 30 Aug), looks like a great day! Was up two weeks ago and there were simply too many cars and too many wrecks to enjoy. I got in 5 laps in about 4 hours ... track closed a LOT! Enjoy!

OMG!!!!! One of the best days (8 minutes) of my life! We hit 274kph, flew by a GT4 and avoided a bad car vs motorcycle accident. Besides all the great wine, beer, food, and castles I've seen and consumed on this trip this ride on the ring made my vacation! I'm still in Germany and will post some pictures upon my return to the states. I did see what appeared to be some variant of a new Lamborghini Huracan, four 991 GT3RS, three GT4, and two Ferrari 458 Speciale. It was a good day.

I've been through the museum and through the factory. Both are amazing. I work in manufacturing and had a great conversation about Porsche's processes, operations, etc… Well worth the trip - truly a great experience.
I'm going to Dresden in a month, unfortunately not enough time to get over to the 'ring… Maybe next trip
