I have Sport Cup 2's on my 2011 TTS. Perfect for me since I put about 3-4k/year and always avoid the rain. Amazing tire, amazing grip, great wear, and not that loud at all. It's the tire I will keep on the car.

UPDATE. AND I'M STILL LOOKING FOR ADVICE ASAP.

Tirerack is going to take back the Bridgestones. I was going to order the PSS's in place of them but they don't have the rears until december.

SO WHAT TIRE!??!!? lol

PS2? CUP2? RE-11? Any other suggestions? I drive the car a few thousand miles a year so wear is not an issue. I want to get the best tire i can.

My mind is telling me it's going to be the Cup 2's. but i am not 100%.

Thanks in advance.

+1

These are such great tyres. Have been using them for 12 months in NZ, and they've performed so well.

We just mounted Bridgestone RE71Rs in stock sizes on our car for occasional daily and light track duty when we don't want to run hoosiers. We did a couple of hundred miles of street driving last weekend and they were great, as quiet and smooth as PSS's, and razor sharp response.

This is the tire all the hot autocross guys use, and it WILL wear fast, but gobs of grip and nice street manners. I had to drop pressures some, as the factory 37/44 is too high for our stiff suspension. 33/38 worked beautifully. Id say it is more streetable but on par or better than the R888 when pushed.

LOL I meant for the OP who was having issues.

Rez90 what tire presures are you running with the S04's.
I know they have softer sidewall, perhaps increasing tire pressure might help with the squishy feel.

I was running 36/41 cold. I tried everything. Doesn't matter now. Cup2's will be here tomorrow.
