Ride Quality on M2 compares to 997.1 PASM

I test drove a M235i yesterday, and quite like it. However, my mind has been set on either a M240i xDrive or a M2.

I am currently driving a 2006 C4S Cab. For the most part, I think the ride quality is excellent as long as I don't turn on the Sport Suspension. With that being said, since it's nearly impossible to find a M2 locally, let alone test drive one here in Seattle.
What I am hoping to find out is the Ride Quality. The M2s have standard non-adjustable sport suspension, What is your opinions on it's ride quality relative to my 2006 997.1? I used to have a Subaru STi, and the ride quality on it is poor, so I don't want to purchase another car that's the suspension that has the same JDM Stiffness in the suspension setup.

Thanks
