What Porsche for last car
I am in my 12th porsche over the past 37 years. Now I am driving a Targa 4S. The car is fine but i am already planning my next car.I will be 70 in September and the next will probably be my last.
I just drive, no racing or track.
I am thinking most likely of a 08 turbo. My other naughty choice for this old fart would be a wild GT3. I don't haul anyone but my wife occasionally and my golf clubs. What do you think, would the GT3 be too tough to drive almost daily. I know the turbo would be the most logical choice. Thanks for the info.

I think there is a Turbo the best choice. It is a better dsaily driver. My dad is at the same age. I think he gets an Aston as his last car. But the Turbo will be my choice. Good luck.

thanks for the respones thus far. I think I should have requested the respones (all do respect for you young studs) to age 40 and above. A GT is out of the question except in a wet dream. I think I was really looking for a reason for a daily driver an old fart should even consider a GT3. It is outreadgious enough for me to still be in a porsche much less a GT.

In my old Boxster I was able to load bag & clubs in the front and/or rear trunks. On one occasion I squeezed (2) small bags plus a passenger in.
The cool thing now is that I'm never asked to drive to the golf course when a group of us are playing. I just have to spring for breakfast or brews to compensate for the cost of gasoline.
