06' CTT Instrument Panel Illumination
The weather is now getting colder and I'm finding that in the morning when I start my 06' CTT, the instrument panel lighting takes like 10-15seconds to illuminate.
Temperature this morning was around 5deg celcius and the same thing happpend.
Has anyone ever experienced this?
I was thinking that perhaps this has something to do with the headlights being in auto but I've already played around with the headlight switch in different positions and found no improvement.
Anyhow, just wondering your thoughts on this.

I haven't experienced anything like that with mine and it's colder here (-5C) I checked this morning and the lights come on just after starting, maybe 2-3 seconds after it fires up. My headlight switch is always in the auto position as well. Mine is a 2004 CTT. Wondering if this is due to a slow relay operation (if it's on a relay like most vehicles are) or a module of some kind. I wouldn't get to alarmed as long as the lights are coming on and working properly.

Dash Cluster Illumination
I had a similar problem at all temps. Center dash cluster would flicker and sometimes go out altogether.
Finally resolved it by sending the cluster out to have the transformer unit associated with the cluster replaced.
It was $850 including replacing the scratched glass over the tach. There are only a few places that can fix the turbo cluster. Do not send anything to speedo repair firms in Florida!
I finally used one in California and they resolved the problem the first time around.
