Hmm.....carbon doors and tail gate would be sweet if you could use all the stock hardware!

Wonder how much weight it would shave?

Nah....I built Jeeps and crawlers for decades. Even spent about ten years writing for an online 4x4 mag.

The CTT will never equal a properly built jeep off road.....but I do think it would look dam cool with some "Rally inspired" type off road stuff. Light rocker protection, small front light/bump guard, etc

Yea I've been debating if I should go with more of an off-road tire on my summer wheel setup (going with 20's) or keep it an all-season tire. I know for sure though that I don't want a small profile tire...something a little bigger is what I'm looking for because I'm taking the beast camping a lot this coming summer! Decisions.

I'd find some 18s if your going to be on a trail t all in Colorado. Unless you are okay with the rock rash on the 20s....looks like you can't park, or you are a hard core wheeler!

In all honesty I believe my base would be an ideal candidate for tearing off the front and rear valences. Putting on some camping gear and maybe updating the shocks.

I am looking at adding a canoe to my duck hunting cache as well as a mountain bike. Central texas is not the ideal duck hunting area...pm me if you know otherwise :-) .

I'm running 18" General Grabber AT2's. I have had one flat and I am surprised at how fast they wear down on the Cayenne. For the most part i am towing but I have gone down some rough roads (but not off-road) with these.

I needed an affordable tire in 18's because 17's won't fit on the CTT. However, the new CTT's must have a 19" tire on them. The brakes dictate these tire size limitations.

This torquey beast eats tires and I will be claiming them for premature wear out on this beast. This is a good all around tire for my needs. However, while they are OK for an occassional light snow, I would not use them for serious winter driving.

I wish I could carry my set of 20's for the months when I am in Phoenix but I can't afford the extra weight and space. I don't know about the MRT's but if they came in my size, I might try them.
