CDs get hot, CD doesn't play for 10 minutes when turned on, no light on tuner screen and looks like it is off, and my eyes are not what they used to be.
So, I am thinking new head unit w/ screen for back-up camera, iPod integration,
navigation, Bluetooth for hands free phone. Satellite radio not necessary but want to keep steering wheel controls. A front facing camera would be great too as well as parking sensors- and no I don't want to just get a new car mine has been very good to me.
Ideas? Dealer's audio guy wants $4200 I was thinking under $2k.

Go with OEM looking Dynavin N6 with CANBUS support. My cost was $749 for the Dynavin, $30 Backup camera and $300 installation. You'll be happy with it. Buy from JandT distribution. Jeff is a good guy over at the shop.

If you don't end up doing the full head unit switch, I have a 2006 OEM PCM 2.1 available that would be plug and play for you, and it's dirt cheap.
