Ya iv been to the Monday meet a couple of times and to the Friday night meet once . There both a long hall for me I'm in the grapevine area and the Friday meet only had 4 cars when i was there nice people though .

 

There is a Friday meet at Texas Motorspeedway once a month on Fridays that looks pretty cool. Show and Shine along with 1/4 mile racing and a few laps on the oval. I will try going in August.

 

Hello Everyone, Cars and Coffee is a fun event, hope to see some of you there. If anyone is interested in a patio environment I recommend meeting at the social house in Addison on the 27th. I can make arrangements to have dedicated parking in front of the patio for all who want to join us. I will be there along with few others at 4:00pm. Just let me know!

 

Anyone in Dallas the Dallas area still meet up? I usually head to Cars and Coffee but that is about it.

MSR track day that day. It's fun to look at cars, but much more fun to put them on the track! Maybe next time. Thanks for posting.

 

Jmargolese Thanks for the reply and heads up about the dfw autogroup. I have taken this Porsche out to Cresson a couple of times it has been a blast. I had an S5 I had taken out before too, different experience in this car. My Audi was too heavy for the track. Great looking Vantage BTW.

 

Oddly enough the Aston can feel a little heavy at times as well, but still quite nimble. I am taking the RS5 out this weekend, first time on the track. While similar to the S5, the transmission, electronics and the suspension differences should help. I also upgraded the RS5 suspension with an aftermarket stabilizer and some changes to the brakes. Will post some vid next week...

 

Agreed more fun to drive than look at (most cars). It's COTA weekend in Austin, there's never a "perfect" date to do these club meets.

I set this "club" up last year in N. Carrollton as an open free group for alltypes of auto enthusiast in the area to see, share, show off, swap, tellstories about our rides and mingle with other motorheads. A variety of cars attend, some motorcycles and even vintage bicycles.
Anyone else interested in going come on out and join us for the fun!
