Some people attach flamethrowers to their cars to make their burnouts extra crispy. This video goes to show that all of that is really unnecessary. All you really need is a super aggressive launch control system like this guy. That way, your exhaust can serve multiple purposes. You could use it as a:

– extra large cigarette lighter

– marshmallow roaster

– small animal barbequer

– portable fire starter

– tailgater deterrent (repair shops HATE this)

Typically though, people use it as an anti-lag system. It’s supposed to spin your turbos when you get off the throttle by dumping fuel into the exhaust.  The gas explodes, spins the turbines, and kicks out a ton of fire to boot. This guy is banging it off the rev limiter which is why it’s just pouring flame all over his garage floor.

If you’re thinking, “that can’t be good for your turbos,”  you’re right. If you’re thinking “that looks like a great way to burn your garage down”, you’re also probably right. That’s why you generally see that on race cars and the like. Considering this car makes over 1200hp, I’m guessing it sees the drag strip pretty frequently.
