Alfa Romeo Guilia Re-imagined as an El Camino Successor

Since its debut, the entire automotive press has been absolutely drooling over the new Alfa Romeo Guilia. In my opinion, it looks like Alfa took the styling from Jaguar and Mercedes and just smushed the two together. It’s not a cohesive design, but I understand that people see the Alfa Romeo badge and get all week in the knees. I still do with the company’s Tipo 33 Stradale.

However, like many of the sportscars and supercars of today, they all lack the ability to be multi-role in their individual operation. Where are the backseats, where is the good lighting, where’s a two-door pickup ala El Camino! That’s what I want, and thankfully, the designers at Rain Prisk Designs have answered that call.

What we have he is exactly what’s described above, a pickup version of the new Alfa Romeo Guilia, and honestly, I dig this rendering way more than I dig the actual production version. There’s just something evil about this rendering that truly speaks to me, unlike the four-door. Maybe I just have problems, which is entirely possible, or maybe, just maybe, the world needs another two-door hot rod pickup? I’ll let you all decide.
