Go Fetch My Car! Original “Fast & Furious” VW Jetta Headed to Auction

This Volkswagen Jetta is a goodie bag of wonderfulness, and for a somewhat sizable amount of money, you can own a historic vehicle with all sorts of extra features.

This is the original Jetta from the original The Fast and the Furious, the one that started what is now one of the biggest movie franchises of all time. Even if it weren’t a movie prop (which, by the way, has a 4-speed automatic), this is probably one of the coolest complete appearance packages put together on a Jetta. The wheels, the kit, the white-out headlights, and that side graphic … something about it all just works really well. Hard to look at a current Jetta and believe they’re in the same bloodline.

Even better, the car is signed by Paul Walker, Jesse (Chad Lindberg), and Rob Cohen, the director of the film. If that’s STILL not enough to interest you … maybe the little factoid that, before this auction, the car has been owned by car and racing enthusiast and actor Frankie Muniz. Not sure why that would excite you more than the other stuff, but whatever, it’s pretty cool. The car is hitting the block with no reserve at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale.
