For Speed Enthusiasts, 2016 Was a Very Memorable year

December is upon us, and the New Year is right around the corner. The folks here at 6SpeedOnline have decided now is a better time than ever to become a little introspective. Putting together a list of our favorite moments wasn’t exactly easy, but we narrowed it down to these five. In no particular order, check out these memorable moments of 2016.

Porsche 911 blows a tire at high-speed on the Autobahn.
Blowouts are never any fun. Having one happen on your Porsche during a high-speed run on the Autobahn, however, usually results in your life flashing before your eyes.

Sung Kang inspires a new generation of creativity with Project Underdog.

Inspiring today’s youth to be involved in the car scene involves more than just throwing on coil-overs and new rims and calling it a day. Sung Kang brings proper trades, like welding and metalworking into the picture through his unique project builds.

Goodwood Festival of Speed brings out the Black Book of exotic cars.

Goodwood always has some of the worlds best racing cars take part in its annual celebration of motorsport. Lined up in a seemingly endless train of exotica, this video shows what kind of wheels the elite drive to the track.

A Lamborghini pretends its a submarine (and pulls it off).

We all live in a Lambo submarine, a Lambo submarine, a Lambo submarine. For some crazy reason, this Gallardo driver thought it would be a good idea to traverse some deep flood waters. His likelihood of getting through it is about as likely as me winning The Voice, and yet here we are.

Nissan GT-R destroys races a Koenigsegg CCX.

Get ready for smug GT-R owners to shower you with this video. If you haven’t seen it already, it showcases an improbable race between a fairly standard looking R35 GTR, and Koenigsegg’s CCX supercar. I wouldn’t have guessed the outcome.
