The World’s First and Only Aston Martin Drift Car

The only car body in the world composed completely of crushed carbon fiber.

The Drift Games Vlog group presents the first-ever Aston Martin drift car. Who would be crazy enough to turn an Aston Martin Vantage into a fully loaded competition drift car? The talented Sultan Al Qassimi of the notorious Lunatics by Nature crew is who. They created a first of its kind Aston Martin drift car with a body fully composed of crushed carbon fiber. The only car in the world to be entirely outfitted in this material.

This brand new Vantage has been completely stripped and loaded with the latest drift technology. With the entire body shell removed, 3d scanned and molded to create the world’s only fully crushed carbon Aston Martin. With that, none of the original Aston Martin body panels remain on the vehicle. Crushed carbon is a hyperlight and extremely durable material. However, it does weigh heavy on the pocketbook.

Outfitted with a top of the line Samsonas sequential gearbox and set of Sköl custom wheels in custom paint. If interested, a set of Sköl customs can set you back over $USD 6,000. They revamped the Vantage cabin interior, featuring fireproof suede, custom color stitching, and Sparco race seats. The center console complete with touchscreen and soft button capabilities to aide the driver while in competition. In following, to keep with the theme of this over the top customization, the hydraulic hand brake shines in Lunatic by Nature gold paint.

To avoid starting from scratch for a custom safety cage, the Lunatics by Nature crew reached out to Pro-Drive. Which the United Kingdom-based Pro-Drive has cranked out Aston Martin GT Le Mans race vehicles over the years. With that connection, they received the Vantage schematics to create a bolt-on safety cage. The original Vantage engine was tossed and swapped with an LSA Chevy V8 complete with Garret twin-turbos.

As a result, this combination of power can be capable of over 1,000hp.  To assist in heat reduction Lunatics by Nature completely chopped off the Aston Martin back end. In that space, they installed two massive fans, a radium fuel system, and a custom firewall.

Raised around her family’s colorful imports and antique mechanic shop, and with a car museum as a classroom. Yes, really, she was homeschooled out of a car museum. She still has problems with fractions. Caitlin is most at home wandering alone in a car museum or popping a beer behind the desk of her father’s mechanic shop, Shook Enterprises.

With a constant flow of beloved antique and classic sports cars running through the family business, it’s no wonder the origin of her automobile passion.

In efforts of making Caitlin less of a troublemaking brat during her teenage years, her father found a 1976 Porsche 912e to absorb her time. She, with the expert supervision of Steve Shook and Sidney Arnold, began a total restoration. Engine overhaul, all mechanicals, EVERY DAMN THING.

After that, she would soon learn the mind-bending qualities of auto bodywork. Taking the 912e down to metal while branding herself with a heat gun multiple times. Plus, did you know airplane acid hurts like the dickens if you get it a piece of curled paint soaked in it stuck between your leg and your sock? It does. Once down to metal, it was clear the Porsche 912e had been applied Bondo by a Jackson Pollock admirer. Anyways, enough about the restoration.

Now she spends her time good spiritedly harassing mechanics at the family shop, drinking whatever beer is in the fridge, and creating informal YouTube videos on beloved cars to post on The Bad Blonde CARS + TRAVEL.

She hopes you like her work, and if you don’t, best you keep it to yourself.
