Because Ferraris Don’t Catch Fire Enough, Kid Sets His Own on Fire

This is not your typical story of a supercar catching on fire. This Ferrari 458 Italia caught fire in southern Germany because the owner set it on fire. Why did the owner set it on fire? Because he wanted a new one, of course!

The individual is the son of a Swiss millionaire who purchased the car for him. As it turns out, he wasn’t to fond of the car and instead of just telling his father of his displeasure, he paid three individuals $15,000 each to torch it while he was getting a massage.

Reports say he got the Ferrari valued at $245,000, and that the car dealer told him to torch the car. We’re assuming here he wanted a car more expensive, but father only got him this.

He’s a pretty spoiled little brat, because his father gives him $10,000 a month in allowance money, and he was given a property portfolio worth over $30 million by his father as well.

Since the kid was caught, we’re assuming there’ll be no insurance money, so we wonder if daddy will be buying him another new car after torching his own?

This, dear readers, is why we can’t have nice things. Let us know your thoughts in the forums!
