Caractere's 991 Carrera and Cayenne Cousin

We got a few photos of the car from this booth earlier last week, but they didn’t really do it justice. The thing about SEMA, is that while there are a lot of aftermarket wheels and body kits, the vast majority of them look awful. Caractere is a nice change of pace from bolt-on wide bodies and the 24″ rims.

CEC and their body kit shop, Caractere, have always been on the more reserved side of customization. In most cases, the end result is actually pretty good looking. Take this 911 for instance. If you’re not too excited about slapping a really loud bodykit on your brand new 991, then this isn’t a terrible alternative. The wheels aren’t too bad either.

Even the Mercedes is pretty good looking. It’s different enough to tell that it’s been modified, but not so much that it’s become something else. I mean honestly, if you wanted to be noticed, you’d be better served in a green and red 930. Just saying.
