Ferrari Introduces New F12tdf

It’s another day, which means it’s time for yet another special edition Ferrari sports car. Today, it’s a variation of the Ferrari F12. Called the F12tdf, it’s designed to give the driver track performance but maintain street legal drivability. It also looks bonkers..

The F12tdf stands for Ferrari F12 Tour de France, which pays homage to a racing series back in the 1950s and 1960s. Since special edition Ferraris are designed to be super-exclusive, only 799 will be made.

Power is upgraded to an Earth-shattering 769 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. Also, joy of joys, the V12 upgrades in this car have all come without having to use forced induction. You can still get a naturally-aspirated V12, and it’s in this Ferrari.

Shifts are faster both up and down, and the gear ratios are shorter to improve acceleration. Ferrari claims a 2.9 second time from zero-to-sixty, and will top out at a claimed 211 miles-per-hour. Also according to Ferrari, this super F12 lapped the Fiorano test track in 1 minute and 21 seconds.

If you want one, act quickly. While we aren’t sure if the car is already sold out, these special edition units tend to go quickly, and only to the most exclusive of buyers. Time to go digging through the sofa cushions!
