German GT Showdown: Porsche Panamera vs Audi RS6

This should be a good one.

The races at the Dragtimes.info are always fun because of the variety of blisteringly fast hardware they play host to. This time they’ve got Germany’s two power house super sedans lined up: Porsche’s Panamera, and Audi’s RS6. Of course they’ve both been tuned to the edge of what could be considered “sane” for a street car, but it wouldn’t be an Unlim 500+ race if they weren’t.

Even if they were stock it’d be a good comparison. The Panamera Turbo S makes 550hp with it’s twin turbo V8, while Audi’s RS6 makes 570 with it’s twin-turbo V10. What the Porsche lacks in power, it makes up in weight by about 300lbs. Both have all-wheel drive and very, very quick.

Oddly, that Panamera doesn’t have it’s horsepower listed. We can assume that it’s somewhere north of 700hp, considering how well it runs with the RS6. In this case, both cars are being fielded by the same tuner. If anything this just goes to show that Evotech build some quick wheels.
