Gold Wrapped Mercedes
Even Mercedes is getting in on the gold wrapping action. Admittedly, they have a bit of a alibi here. These cars were taxis for the Cannes film festival. The top honor is at Cannes is the Palm d’or, or the “Golden Palm.” So thematically they get a pass.
This guy does not. At night it actually looks fine. But we don’t want to be anywhere near this car in the daylight. Gold glare does not sound like a fun prospect. I guess the point of gold wrap is to stand out as much as possible, but I can think of at least one brand that can make gold wrap seem like an everyday affair.
