Matt Farah Takes a Blue Corsa Ferrari 488 Spider for a Spin

Ferrari wasn’t exempt from being under fire by the enthusiast community when they announced their new turbocharged speed demon. After decades of committing to raw, and visceral naturally-aspirated V8s for their rear-engined rear-wheel drive sports cars, government emission laws made the Italian powerhouse succumb to turbochargers.

Don’t fear though, because according to people like Jason Cammisa, Carlos Lago and the hilarious Jonny Lieberman, Ferrari has enchanted its new turbocharged engine with naturally-aspirated-like dynamics. Now it’s Matt Farah’s turn to confirm or deny such statements.

The Ferrari 488 Spider featured in this video sports a beautiful, and I should repeat, beautiful blue corsa color. The charming and somewhat soothing color nearly makes us forget just how savage this Ferrari can still be on any given road. After all, there’s only so much a glitzy paint color can do to tame a, 661 horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

As with all of Matt Farah’s “One Take” videos, Matt will proceed to give you a walk around of the beautiful stallion, and then take you on an adrenaline-packed canyon drive. Make sure to pump up the volume to enjoy a true Italian symphony!
