Viewers Beware: Mercedes-Benz Reverses onto Ferrari 458 Speciale
Gear heads around the world are cringing after the driver of a Mercedes 380 SL made a very costly mistake, when she somehow reversed over the hood of a $300,000 Ferrari while attempting to parallel park. Oops!
This unthinkable act happened at a cars and coffee event taking place in Great Falls, VA and unfortunately the camera didn’t start rolling until just after the Mercedes backed into the Ferrari 458 Speciale. When the driver tried to dislodge the Mercedes by accelerating forward…. the car moved just slightly on the hood which seemed to further damage the Ferrari.
What makes this situation even worse is the fact that there wasn’t even a car parked in front of the space the Mercedes driver was trying to squeeze into. As you can imagine, the driver was completely embarrassed about the situation as a large crowd gathered around with their cameras and smartphones.
The owner, who stood at the scene in disbelief, uttered, “Are you serious?”. Thankfully no one was hurt in the accident.
