Parking a Race Car at an Expired Meter Is Absolutely Hilarious!

By -

How long can an Indy race car go at an expired meter before getting a parking ticket?

Parking meters are amongst the most annoying things on the streets. It’s mind-blowing after rightfully paying for a vehicle, one must pay state and federal taxes for public works based on the amount of the purchase, pay the local government more money to receive a sticker and license plate, pay fuel taxes, and on top of all that, pay a darn meter to park on a public road. Okay, rant over.

See, there’s a reason for such angry introduction. The folks at Donut Media came up with a hilarious video which features an Evel Knievel-liveried Indy race car, and a parking meter. The sweet racer is carefully placed on the parking box, and the meter isn’t fed — on purpose. The goal is to find out just how long it would take before the “parking police” stopped to investigate.

The four-minute long video will have you cracking up, as all kinds of folks stop to snap a photo of the race car. Until the parking ticket lady finally shows up, that is. After carefully examining the race car, she ventures to find the VIN number. Uhhh, really?

Watch to see what happens!
