Porsche LeMans Pit Video: A Thing of Beauty

Who says pit stops can’t be art? To me, they’re infinitely more interesting than… I dunno, say a synchronized swimming routine. The art of the pit stop incorporates laser-like precision, timing, and heavy team coordination to manage the hundreds of minute tasks happening in a few seconds time.

With a soft background track of Edith Piaf, this video is as much Swan Lake as it is a sly challenge to everyone else in the 2014 LeMans circuit. Porsche will be entering the 919 hybrid to compete, and by the looks of it, they look ready as hell to take on the world.

Kind of wish they ended the video with screaming exit out of the pit stop gates. That’s the only thing that would have made this video better.
