Scuderia Down! Exotic Road Rally Adventure Turns into a Crashed Ferrari

By -

Road rallies are a fun way to drive with friends. On public roads, danger could be just around the corner, as one unlucky Ferrari Scuderia owner finds out.

Cars are meant to be driven. The express purpose of a vehicle is to move people and/or cargo from one place to another. However, in the realm of exotics and supercars, driving is not always priority number one. In fact, putting miles on these rare cars can greatly reduce their value. Which is why many of these cars sit, unused in garages around the world. So, when a group of exotic owners get together to add some serious miles to their cars, it is a real treat to see. Enter the world of exotic car road rallies.

All of the time and energy that was put into these amazing machines is fully expressed when they are driven long and hard. The F430 Scuderia is a very limited edition car, which Ferrari built using the best technology available at the time. The Scuderia added tons of carbon fiber, carbon ceramic brakes, a lightweight interior, track focused suspension, and of course more power over the standard F430. On a winding mountain road the Scuderia is a tool for pure driving pleasure, until it becomes a nightmare.

In this video, Youtube channel DailyDrivenExotics takes on his journey on the Corsa America Rally just as the group is leaving Las Vegas. The gathering of cars is incredible, everything from a Bugatti Veyron to a Pagani Huayra BC. Coming out of town the massive group takes over the Vegas strip in a roar of exotic engines. Driving into California the rally heads to the mountains for a spirited drive. Unfortunately being on public roads presents certain challenges. Like when a truck burst a radiator hose and dumps coolant right on a tight hairpin corner. Coolant is incredibly slick and will cause all forms of tires to lose traction. Watch the video to see what happens to the Ferrari Scuderia and remember to let us know what you think in the comments.
