Supercar Conglomerate Turns Airport into Car Show

By -

Large group of Lambos heads to…An all-Porsche car show? Regardless, this video is chock full of supercar goodness!

Full disclaimer: the title of the following video is a bit misleading. You won’t find a whole bunch of Lambos rolling onto the tarmac at LAX. Heck, you won’t even see that many Lambos. But this little impromptu supercar gathering in the parking lot of Los Angeles International Airport is every bit as entertaining, regardless. And in this case, no one goes to jail for disrupting our incredibly (in)efficient airline service!

Hilariously enough, our host’s Aventador isn’t even rare in L.A. In fact, he spots a grand total of five of them on his way to scarf down some animal-style offerings at the local In-N-Out. It’s there that he meets up with his buddies, who drive everything from a new Mustang GT to a Jaguar F-Type R. His English buddies get a proper taste of SoCal traffic too, after an hour-long trip down to Newport Beach to round up some more Lamborghini driving friends.

So where do a bunch of Lambos, a Ford, and a Jag go to have fun on a sunny California day? How about an all-Porsche meet, where they aren’t even allowed to park anywhere near it? Regardless of that little snafu, the supercar driving gang seems to enjoy the vast array of fine Porsche machinery on display. And so do we.

Supercar

From stock early model 911s to highly modified modern machinery, there’s plenty of Stuttgart goodness going on here. But mostly vintage, aside from an ever-lustworthy 911R. In fact, 356s actually seem to rule the day, outnumbering the mighty 911 at least 2 to 1. But there are still plenty of air-cooled examples of Porsche’s most famous sports car. Which includes a vintage rally racer and even one incredibly detailed restomod. All of which makes this oddly named supercar video worth watching anyway!
