The Top Four Celebrity Porsche Collectors
There are lots of people in this world that have a lot of money. Some of them have more, some of them have less, which means some can afford one Porsche, and others can afford 30 of them. Then there are celebrity Porsche owners, who typically focus on special and limited edition models, rather than quantity or price.
Let’s take a look at four of the most popular celebrity Porsche owners today.
Salmondrin
Self-proclaimed YouTube and Instagram’s most down-to-earth Porsche collector, and all-around cool fellow-Mexican, Salomondrin surely knows his Porsches. His business investments in Hollywood productions and other technologies have netted Salomondrin a steady gargantuan income, and what a better way to use it up than by buying a Porsche 918, GT4, GT3 RS, 4.0 and many more. Salomondrin is certainly on Porsche’s VIP list, and although he’s currently crying because Ford didn’t sell him a Ford GT, I’m pretty sure he’ll get over it sooner rather than later.
Ellen DeGeneres
I bet you weren’t expecting to see a female on this list. After all, Porsche’s are primarily owned by males, unlike Mercedes, BMW, and other luxury performance brands. But yup, Ellen has been a Porsche loyal for a very long time.

Perhaps the world’s most famous Porsche collector, is actor and mega-comedian, Jerry Seinfeld.
Seinfeld’s obsession with the Stuttgart manufacturer started early on in his career, and at some point Seinfeld owned over 40 new and vintage Porsches, as well as some pristine racing examples as the one pictures above. He eventually trimmed his collection once a few models skyrocketed in price, but he still holds a few of them very dearly and close to his heart. I can’t blame him.
Patrick Dempsey
I’ve had the chance to meet Mr. Dempsey at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before, and chat over his racing and Porsche obsession, and trust me, it really is an obsession. While I get the feeling that he secretly wants to become the new Steve McQueen, Patrick Dempsey definitely loves his vintage Porsches.
Unlike many other celebrity collectors that want the newest models, Dempsey, or as his female fans refer to him, “Doctor McDreamy,” typically opts for cruising in a vintage 911 Carrera or even a beautiful RS model. Perhaps it’s because he gets to experience the latest and greatest from Porsche when he is onboard his 911 GT RSR competing at Le Mans.
