Zagato Shows off One-of-a-Kind Carrera GT

Fact: Zagato builds beautiful things. The first car that comes to mind is the arresting Aston Martin Zagato, but they have a long history of building cars that make people ooh and ahh from looks alone. Porsche’s Carrera GT has the same effect on people even without the help of Zagato’s designers. The base platform is stunning, so it’s not shocking that Zagato’s take is beautiful as well. I actually like this version better than the original Carrera GT. That’s something that I never thought I’d say.

While this is being touted as a Zagato design, they’ve actually stayed pretty close to the original CGT.
They’ve installed a new rear diffuser, front bumper, and exhaust The most obvious change is their redesign of the roof. The meshy engine covers are gone and have been replaced by solid double arches that melt into rear deck. It’s a drastic difference when comparing the two side-by-side, but on it’s own, the Zagato looks perfectly normal.

YouTuber NM2255 has recorded the car below. If you’re worried that they have somehow screwed up the Carrera GT’s awesome exhaust note, if hear to alleviate your fears.
