I think it's safe to say it is GTR vs ZO6 & 911 Turbo


GTR is like a new kid in a class who is good at math. All the kids hate him because he always get A+, bringing up the curve.

 

I don't dislike the GTR . I simply feel comfortable enough with my Porsche to not exactly feel as though I am suffering.

If the GTR sparked feelings in me where I felt that I just had to buy one I suppose it could replace one of my other cars at some point. Yet I don't see it doing that for me at this time.

I do understand that some who love the GTR might feel that everyone ought to feel the same way . I don't --yet!!!

Just thought people like to see some opinions from ZO6 owners. I just found it funny that for once, ZO6 owners and 911 owners agreed on something.

 

We all know GTR is faster than 997tt in the ring,from the 10 threads opened before.
But in my opinion, it's still nothing but an ugly japan tin
I can't even compare GTR with 997 tt because,the only similarity between them is their performance.
I know too many guys love it too much but unfortunately this the reality.He is the loser guy of the class who runs fast.But that's all.
997tt is the still best car ever done,until Porsche products the better

 

I'll go on the record right now. If GT-R's are selling $20k-$30k over sticker when they come out, mine is going on Ebay and I'll be looking for that 997 GT3 that I've been wanting.

 

I would much rather choose to ally myself with Nissan than Chevy.

How ironic that two of the countries who LOST WWII are now producing the finest cars in the world (Germany and Japan)???

If this irony holds true then Iraq will soon be producing a 800 HP, 2300 lbs automobile for 56K.

I beg to differ. GM is far from being done. Rick Wagoner has the company on the right track and watch out for them in the next few years. They will be back with a vengenace. For Nisssan on the other hand, they really are not in much better shape than GM is. Their sales in the U.S. is not so hot. Carlos Ghosn admitted himself. The dealer body is not profitable. That is a recipe for disaster. That situation is just like GM, Ford, or Chrysler.

Dont' be so down and out on the domestic 3. They will be back. Ford has an awesome CEO in Allen Mullaly. Chrysler has Jim Press, the guy who propelled Toyota passed Ford here in the U.S. These guys will get things done and the American car industry will be vibrant and competitive again real soon. Stay tuned....
