I don't remember my dreams in general. Like most of us, when we wake up, the dream vanishes in the instant before we open our eyes...but sometimes it stays in my mind for a few moments. I see the scenes, and it takes me a few seconds to realize it was just a dream. It doesn't happen to me often, but it's always a good dream, not a bad one.

Last night I dreamed that I was out at night, enjoying dinner with a few boistrous friends, having a great time talking and laughing. Just a normal occurrence around here, so it seemed real enough.

Ben was sitting across from me, and while we talked, I looked at his face and it struck me that he just looked so happy, healthy and youthful...

When I woke up this morning, it stayed with me for a few seconds before I realized it was a dream.

I can't tell you how crushed I was, so disappointed it wasn't true...

After losing my father, I dreamed about him every night for about a year and I still dream about him about once a month. Everytime I wake up and remember that he's no longer with us, it breaks my heart. But during the dreams, those shorts moments when he's still alive, I couldn't be happier.

 

Two nights before Ben's death, I had a dream. In the dream was someone I went to school with who died about a month ago in a car accident.

The next night, I saw Ben's car in my dream.

The next day after the dream, I found out Ben was in the accident. And ever since then, I keep having dreams of car accidents.
