Anyone else into early 911??
'71E with a '74T motor. It's been at least four different colors, and I'm trying to determine what color to make it next. Also going to do the RSR suspension conversion. Tempted to do a full RS conversion, but I really like the clean look of the old cars. Not a big fan of the chrome Fuchs, but oh well.
Photo here with it in good company.

I was never a fan of the Chrome Fuchs either until I put them on my Silver 79' 930, they look great on that car.
I love the old 911's like you have, I am looking for one similar to that.

I just bought my 8th 911. After having moved my way through the air-cooled ranks (from a '87 Targa to 964's, 993's) and then onto water-cooled ('00 996) I am now back where I started. I just bought a beautiful '87 Carrera 3.2 Coupe in Black with Champagne leather. It's a pretty highly optioned 3.2 with Ltd Slip, Full Leather, Heated Seats, Velour Trunk Carpet, etc. I really missed this shape and feel. The newer cars are great but this is really what I think of when I think of the pleasure a 911 Carrera can bring. It's so simple and pure and the limits are well within my realm of driving talent. It's a challenge to get right and you can use most of what it can do on public roads without puting everyone in danger. Anyway, I just figured I'd mention it. I'll try to get some pics on here soon.
