Electronic Ignition and Fuel Injection

Has anyone on this thread installed an Electromotive TEC electronic ignition and fuel injection system on their 911? My Porsche mechanic has been trying to convince me that this is the way to go with my engine and he says it gives ultimate control over the engine in a way that's much better than trying to custom write a chip for my setup....any comments??? The system seems quite pricey and I can't get a handle on how much more HP I would get, if any.

I have read some threads about it on Rennlist and Pelican. I do not know enough about it to comment, but you should give the other forums a try...much better for aircooled information.
